It all began in 1993, when a frustrated Ruth Partington (Managing Director)* had had enough of poor quality translations and linguistic nightmares, and so she founded Empower Translate - a solution that would provide quality-assured, crystal clear translations from the get-go.

Going stronger than ever 20 years on, Acuity Translations has been set up in 2016 as the specialist arm of Empower Translate in response to the changing face of global and technological requirements. As a result, we have created even more effective solutions when you require language services – which, nowadays, always involves a lot more than ‘just translation’...

Like Empower Translate, as well as offering the highest quality linguistic solutions, Acuity Translations sets itself apart by its emphasis on providing our clients with the very best possible experience – a dedicated in-house team ensures that you are always kept up-to-date on project progress and that attention to detail is of the highest priority. We select a specialist team of translators and linguistic experts, with skills and experience in the required language, and also in your subject matter too, be it medical, technical or legal to name a few.
